ROMANTIC COMEDY STARS ACTRESS ERIN CAHILL
MARTIN KOVE FROM “KARATE KID” AND “COBRA KAI” IN TOWN
Dunedin, Florida (July 12, 2021) – The St. Pete/Clearwater area has been chosen as the destination for yet another feature film. A TASTE OF LOVE is a romantic comedy written by local talent and inspired by a slice of Tampa Bay paradise. Internationally recognized actors will be in town through the end of July to showcase the beauty and charm of our area from Dunedin to St. Pete. A TASTE OF LOVE will be released nationally in early 2022.
Line Producer Elayne Schneiderman Schmidt discovered the project initially. She has extensive experience (over 70 projects completed) in the industry from the award-winning TV series “Miami Vice” to “Up in the Air” with George Clooney. She didn’t stop there, she was part of the Oscar winning, “Moonlight”. “I could gather my team and shoot anywhere in the country but choose Pinellas County for the friendly work environment, beauty of the area and talented crew here in Florida.” Elayne brought a variety of projects to Tampa Bay including several Hallmark films.
“We are so fortunate to bring LA-based and veteran movie-maker and producer Lincoln Lageson back to our area. He has completed over one hundred feature films in his career and worked with the top talent in Hollywood. Because of his relationships, we were able to cast our stars. We worked together a few years ago shooting a Hallmark film and thrilled he is happy to be back working with us on Florida’s West Coast. He also loves our sunsets, beaches, and friendly work environment. Lincoln has travelled the world and worked in some of the most breathtaking destinations and says we live in Paradise.”
During a three week shooting schedule in July, there will be 21 featured cast members along with dozens of locals that will participate in the production. Scenes from A TASTE OF LOVE will highlight our picturesque architecture, romantic beaches and marinas, dramatic skyline at sunsets, and a beloved restaurant.
Local residents interested in being considered as a background performer/volunteer may contact Casting Director Karlie Loland with KLR Creative Group at info@diversethread.com for information. Please send a current photo, phone number and in the subject line say “A TASTE OF LOVE.” Shooting days will be between now and July 30th.
